| XI - The Moors II | XIII - The Catalans II |
In 1234 A.D. the archbishop of Tarragona, Guillerm de Montgri is allowed by his king Jaume I of Aragon to conquer Ibiza and Formentera. Together with Don Pedro de Portugal and Don Nuno Sanz, they take over the islands on the 12th of April, 1235. We see them landing and fighting. Life in the country changes masters but continues much the same.
Below: A compass, more elaborate weapons, a crossbow and war machines. Arab and Christian coins. The coin in the middle is a Templar coin, since King Jaume I, although not officially a Knight Templar, he had been raised by them.
