The island is more than ever an easy ground for pirates from the Ottoman Empire, which includes North Africa and other countries like France, England and others.
Overlooking the bay of Ibiza, in a location that would nowadays be near Talamanca, a group of Ibicenco Corsairs, showing their Corso licence are talking. One of them keeps watch on two Turkish prisoners. A group of smugglers disembark with tobacco and alcohol. Boat building flourishes on Ibiza and we can see yauts, jabekes and a Galley.
